Responses to Global Challenges: Addressing Climate Change in Nebraska
The UN Climate Conference in Copenhagen did not solve all the challenges presented by global warming. But important steps were taken. In the end the solutions will not be found at international conferences alone, but through the practical steps that individual countries take. In Nebraska, Denmark offered its own experience as an example of how a persistent and active energy policy can help reduce green house gas emissions while sustaining growth and creating new jobs.
